I think players
should have a morale rating, which could be affected by whether they are
in a team or not. This could then affect skill increases or decreases.
Random events would be a good idea as well. A star player could increase
crowds or a donation from a local business could increase your transfer
funds.
REPLY: We don't have morale as a set stat but it does play a part in several orders. One of the factors taken into consideration when calculating skill changes is whether they are regular first team players or not.
We also have plans to introduce special events but these will be minor and will not affect the game greatly. A player's ability to manage his team should be based on his skill, not random events. Some football games give you the option (for a real life cost) to participate in a lottery which if you win, gives you extra transfer funds. To our way of thinking, this is allowing players to buy success and should not be added to Extra Time. Let us know what you think?
